The Restoration of Jurisdiction Department of the Union of Ontario Indians conducted the Anishinaabe Dodemaag (Clans) Teachings Conference \u2013 held March 28 to the 29th, 2023 \u2013 in Little Current, Ontario.\u00a0 Through the teachings of speaker Chop Waindubence and Anishinabek Head Getzit, Richard Assinewai, it provided an introduction and in-depth exploration of the traditional governance process based on the guiding principles of the Dodemaag System and the 7-Pointed Star System, decision-making process.<\/p>\n
